A tip has comed from an unlikely source, even that source could keep quiet about it.Lucius Publius Severus who was a crime lord on Carpathia has decided to help the authorities after his grand daughter was murdered .Someone has seen very strange people around a warehouse in Oituz city,also that person has seen through a window that a shrine was prepared.
At this tip the Special Reaction Team from Oituz Police was put on hot stand by.The location was sealed and the SRT team ready to go.Nothing will prepare them for what they will find inside.Once the SRT breached they found 20 persons around a shrine chanting “Blessend be Thanatos.Give us your power”,and on the shrine there was a naked woman ready to be sacrificed.At the base there was the corpse of another victim.
When the worshippers saw the police they attacked them”Kill the pagans”.The SRT opened fire and killed almost everyone.”Stop fire”has shouted the lead officer of the SRT,”we need one alive”.They arrested 2 criminals.
The search of the location has given horrific details.There was a pit were 8 bodies were found,and in a separate room was found 5 cages with 10 captured victims.The so called Holly books some data pads were taken in custody.To the shoock of the police a black van arrived from which 5 men came,2 have identified as ONI officers,2 from Frumentarii Agency and 1 officer from NSC with comms specialization.Also they requested that the prisoners will be transfered in there custody.The Chief Inspector asked why,then the ONI officer said that during the last 3 years freighters have been attacked ,boarded and the crew killed in the most horrific ways.The scans retrieved from those ships have shown light,very agile with plasma beam rapid fire ships.
Once the two prisoners were transfered in ONI and Frumentarii custody,they were taken to a secure location.Initial they didn’t respond to normal interrogation tehniques, the President authorized the use agressive tehniques because of need of information .This capture was the best treasure on information since all of this started.
They said they were worshipers for the LIGHT of Thanatos, a death cult which required killing of pagans to reach for the Light.Also the High Priest required that a Crusade should start to bring more blessings from Thanatos.Also this High Priest wanted more worshipers by creating an empire.They also said there were 20 churches spread across Norcian space and the time of Sorrow was near.When they were asked about the Light ,the prisoners said it represented the most important blessing to receice.
Also the data extracted from the data padd and a long range communication array it verified some of the information ,but the number of churches was larger around 32.There were also communication logs between churches and ships.
After all the information was collected and analyzed ,this begun to show a very trobling situation.Norcia might face a religious fanatics campaign.This situation must be reported to the president and the Senate.

The Police will destroy this so called churches with the help from ONI,Frumentari,Military Intelligence.Every prisoner captured will be brought to justice and prosecuted with the maximum charge availble.
A nation wide search for all this sadistic monsters
Norcia Star Command will secure the borders and then search and destroy this monsters
United Norcian Army and the Legion Corp will provide units to destroy this enemy beyond our borders

With the help of the informations obtained a simultaneous takedown operation was conceived .So on 12 july 3392 at 3am all churches were raided during a ceremony called Price for Thanatos.A lot of them resisted but because of that SRT teams opened fire and killed a lot of them.During this operation was discovered the remains of over 2500 remains and 64 kidnapped victims.With the informations gathered more members which were not present were arrested.
