Blackstar Security Services was founded about a century after the Atlantean Empire by Tiberius Draconis and a cadre of former special operations veterans, it provides contracted security services to the Imperial government, but also maintains private contracts with a wide variety of private organizations and even individuals. Having earned a reputation for both the high-quality and scope of their services within the Atlantean Empire, Blackstar has also started accepting contracts outside the Empire, although some have accused Blackstar of performing clandestine military operations on behalf of the Atlantean government, side-stepping treaty restrictions with the Kingdom of Eirangard
