The T-900 Furore Torpedo was designed by Malaxa Spirit, and is used by the NSC. Until the present time there were manufactured 7421 units. It has a length of 13.2m,a diameter of 2.5m and a total weight of 6.4 tonnes.

This weapons platform was reintroduced in NSC arsenal as a better means to combat enemy capital ships and orbital ships.

History

Deployment

This weapon was introduced in service in 3310.The Furore can be launched from corvettes up to dreadnaughts.The torpedo could be guided on target through a very very thin wire of graphene or by very tight laser beams.It can also execute attacks by using the active and passive systems onboard by detecting,confirming and attacking the target.One attack mode used was called Eagle Claw.After launch the torpedo will execute a parabolic flight until target.The final approach was from above or from beneath.

Propulsion

The main propulsion is secured by TR 1 ion engine,which could propel the Furore at 2744m/s even for the weight of the torpedo.

Sensors ,variants and upgrades

The torpedo is equiped with an 5D active array for seeking targets.The sensors installed can also detect heat,electromagnetic and electric signatures.The way Furore was developed it can be very easy to maintain and upgrade.

Over the service time the main upgrades were given towards propulsion,replacing the TR 1 with TR 3 engine for better flight performance.The ESQ 200 anti jamming was replaced with ESQT 300 anti jamming which is better in a very rich EW enviroment.There were also made upgrade towards the guidance and control interfaces

  1. T 900 block 10,was the first production variant starting in 3310 with an conventional warhead

  2. T 900 block 20,had improvments in targeting array,war book , active targeting systems

  3. T 900 block 30,had improved flight envelope,by allowing to target ground target.The warhead was replaced with a NHEAT and it was used for the first time during the Light of Thanatos crisis.

  4. T 900 block 40,had a better  propulsion better anti jamming capabilities,improved data reciver.The NHEAT warhead was rated now for 24 Megatons.

  5. T 900 block 50 was a secret development of a stealthy torpedo with a conventional warhead for ONI.Details as follows REDACTED.

  6. T 900 block 60 is a Combat Cargo Resupply Platfom which can carry up to 300 kg of supplies,ammunition,medical supplies.The method of landing was inspired by an American space pioneer Elon Musk with his Falcon 9 rockets.

  7. T 900 block 70 is a Stand Alone Attack Platform.This platform can be used after launch to deploy 16 Swordfish light torpedo
