The Naqwib-class Armored Frigate (Gaennai: Rakataan aamar /ɽɑ.kɑ.tɑːn ɑːmɑɽ/) is the Empire of Gaennaan‘s workhorse, acting as the Imperial Navy’s primary convoy escort, patrol ship, and anti-piracy vessel throughout Gaennid space. Fast for ships of its type, the Naqwib-class Armored Frigate is afforded more protection without sacrificing mobility because of the liberal application of kassem-alloy plating and components. In terms of arms, the Naqwib has no real preference for particle beam emitters or missile batteries, instead opting for a generalized combat capability to allow for mission flexibility.
