The Fifes of Migration are the six pseudospheres within which is allocated the territories of the six Glittering Houses within Sharaadi law. Acting as political and economic borders for the different glittering fleets and their vassal fleets, the Fifes of Migration were established to curtail any further inter-Sharaadi warfare by Liir Kamara following his rise to the throne in the 3200's, and dictated in the Seven Reforms of Liir.

Though not internationally recognized as governed Sharaadi territory, the different Sharaadi migrant fleets ply their trade within these spheres, and guard it as their own from pirates and rival migrant fleets alike. Rare is it for a fleet of one sphere to cross over into one of another Glittering House without the proper formalities being declared, otherwise they risk facing retribution from said Glittering House, or in a worst case scenario, the Gilded Throne itself.
