The Golgassan War (3403-3412), also known as the Tolean Civil War, was a major conflict that pitted much of Tolea against itself, eventually drawing in combatants from across the Eastward Rim as fighting escalated in the wake of the Orgos Incident.
Ignited by the collapse of the Tolean government in 3403, the civil conflict soon drew the attention and eventually involvement of four separate Star Nations including the Grand Archonate of Sadar. Ionian League and the Empire of Gaennaan, due to Golgassa's placement along ancient trans-Baqqiri ftl corridors. Beginning with a Sadarii intervention in the latter half of 3405 in the wake of the Orgos Incident, elevation in military and civilian casualties eventually saw the intervention of a Peripherian League White-Cap task force under the joint command of Ionian and Gaennai military officials deployed in support of the Royalists and re-establish governmental control and stability.
The Golgassan War came to define the geo-political landscape of the northern Eastward Rim for the better part of the 3410's with the subsequent Baqqiri Stagnate.
