The Taifa of Ahmad is a former Glittering House of the Rahaabate of Busaan, and one time rulers of the Sharaadi's maritime empire. Cast into exile following Liir Kamara's conquests in the mid 3200's, the remnants of the Taifa of Ahmad have become notorious for their piracy throughout the north-eastern fringe of the Eastward Rim, fare more savage and bloodthirsty than their counterparts, the Jiheti, who they are often mistaken as, for to the Sharaadi they are one in the same; outcasts eternal.
The Ahmadi Taifa can trace its lineage back to the origins of the Great Ark of Sharaad; an old and vaunted family before their downfall and eventual defeat at the hands of the upstart Liir Kamara. Founded by the sole survivor of the Ahmadi Taifa, Kurushan Ahmad, the Taifa of Ahmad regrew its ranks off the back of Liir's campaigns of unification across the Known Galaxy.
