The Haven of Pelagos, also known simply as Pelagos, is one of the smaller stellar objects in the atral geography of Ossyria, locked to the orbit of its largest moon Carthagus, and acts as the headquarters of the Unified Ionian Navy. It's most notable feature is the giant harbour carved into the surface of the asteroid. Likened to the Cothon of the ancient Phonecians, it's port contains a large, rectangular avenue in which civilian ships may dock, but far to its rear, sealed behind great blast doors, is Pelagos' naval shipyards and drydocks; the beating heart of the Unified Ionian Navy. It's where tens of thousands of naval aviators train every year and where all major naval exercises are planned and coordinated.

Established before the founding of the Kingdom of Ossan, it was greatly expanded upon during the Kingdoms height. Pelagos has been indicative of the maritime spirit of the Ossans for centuries, its great port acting as a birth for the Royal Ossan Navy, the Ossan Confederate Navy and the Unified Ionian Navy over its eight hundred year lifetime. It acts as the maritime gateway to Carthagus; larger vessels are required to waylay and drop anchor within Pelagos, before cargo, and/or people, are transported to the moons surface via shuttle.
